Background
I am a self-taught artist from Vermont who specializes in mixed media assemblage. I love finding discarded items and upcycling them to form a beautiful piece of artwork giving these items a new life as wall art. I have been creating my entire life making things and building things. I'm always thinking about my current project or planning for the next new project, whether it's a piece of art, remodeling my home, digging in my garden or writing. I am a published poet and love to write about nature and life.
Medium
I am a mixed media assemblage artist using found objects as a catalyst for my creations. When I see an interesting shape or form, I feel it can become something outside its original purpose. I incorporate acrylic paint, inks, pastels, and many different mediums. Jewelry, metal bits and pieces, fiber, plastic as well as things from nature, this is just a short list of items that get to tell a new story in my artwork.

My Inspiration
I am inspired by the things I see in nature and the objects that cross my path. I love mixed media assemblage as I feel I am a master puzzler. I love to put things together to form new and beautiful artwork to share with others.
