Canyon
This is made entirely with ceramic tile over Hardibacker board.
It has a wire Hanger on the back and measures 15" x 19 1/4" framed.

Sparklers
Black ceramic tile on Hardibacker board and framed with pine. I used clear glass pieces, half glass marbles, a dog leash, acrylic paint and grout. I covered it with several layers of polyurethane. It has a heavy-duty wire hanger on the back and measures 18 3/4" x 29 1/4". For Sale $450
Mosaic Fireworks
Hardibacker was used a substrate for this art piece and I made a frame out of pine. I sliced 2 " tiles into matchstick thin pieces and glued them to the substrate and grouted it. I made flat rounds using Sculpey clay and adhered these to the ends of some of the tile pieces. I painted the frame using acrylic paint and give the entire piece several coats of polyurethane. $500.00 Approximate measurement is 24"x24". Sold
Japanese Flower Arrangement
Ceramic tile, thin boards, bark, grout and acrylic paint were used to create this art piece. The taller flowers represent man, and the smaller flowers represent the woman in this traditional Japanese flower arrangement. 21 3/4"x 33 3/4". $735.00 Sold
Riverbed
This mosaic hangs on the outside of my house under the eaves. It is ceramic and porcelain tile adhered to a laminate flooring sample board. I built a frame, attached a board on the back, and set the mosaic into the assembly using caulking to seal all the cracks. To seal them from the weather, I poured epoxy resin on both the top as well as the sides and back. It was hard to get a good picture as the glossy finish reflected everything. $364. Not For Sale.
