Judy's Piano Trunk
I built this trunk using wood from my friend Judy's piano.
The foot pedals, piano hinge and other metal hardware are original to the piano. The music notes on top create a found poem which goes as follows:

Dinette Table
My metal artist friend Ralph "Jake" Jacobs built this table out of metal and I added Hardibacker to the top. I cut stone tile and adhered them on to the tabletop and grouted to finish. This table measures 36" square with the corner angled off and is 36" tall. $500.00 Not For Sale
Toy Storage cabinets
I built two of these cabinets using recycled wood from my old built-in which I tore out from my living room last year, as well as leftover scrap wood I had in my workshop and some fence pickets. Heart Chair
I covered this chair with cut out hearts from brown craft paper. I painted the chair with acrylic paint and then added metallic paint for a metal look. This chair was sold at the Springfield on the Move's Auction for the beautification of our downtown in Springfield Vermont. $100. Sold.
Door Cabinet
I used an old door, shutters, and random wood I had kicking around in my workshop to construct this cabinet. I sprayed mirror paint on the glass and painted the cabinet with white spray paint, I stained and used polyurethane on the countertop. This cabinet measures approximately 77" high x 36" wide x 18" deep. $250. Sold.
Wood Door Cabinet
I used a vintage wooden door and wood from my workshop to construct this cabinet. I coated the glass with mirror paint. I stained it a dark walnut color leaving the countertop a bit light. I used polyurethane to coat the entire piece. This cabinet measures approximately 77" tall x 36" wide x 18" deep. $250.00. Sold.
Two Twin Bedframe Benches
I used the headboard and footboard of a two twin bed sets and wood slats to construct these two benches. I painted them with latex paint. $125.00 each. Both sold.
Storage Bench
I used a twin bed headboard and footboard along with pieces of pine boards I had in my workshop to construct this bench. I sprayed it with primer and latex paint. $125.00. Sold.
Canopy Bedframe Bench
I used a twin-size headboard and footboard along with wood from my workshop to construct this bench. I drew and cut the shape for the braces to go across the top. I sprayed this bench with latex paint. This bench has storage under the hinged seat. $250.00. Sold.
Double Bedframe Bench
I used a double size bed headboard and footboard along with wood from my shop to construct this bench. I sprayed it with latex paint. $250.00. Sold
Wooden Twin Bench
I used a twin-size headboard and footboard to construct this bench. I removed the brass metal pieces from the bed and sprayed the bench with black latex paint. Cleaned the metal pieces and put them back onto the bench. $200.00. Sold
Hinged Green Bench
I used a twin-size headboard and footboard to construct this Bench along with wood from my stash. I used a piano hinged on the seat cover to create storage. I sprayed the bench with dark green latex paint. $175.00 Sold.
Recycle Center Cabinet
I used bits and pieces of wood slats, pine boards and plywood to build this cabinet. I used pieces of an old headboard and footboard for the top. I stained and used polyurethane to coat the entire piece. I added casters to the bottom for easy movement. $500.00 Not for sale.
Buffet Island
I used a 1950"s buffet to build this island. I added wood to the base for storage and casters to the bottom for ease mobility and pine boards to the top. I coated the countertop with a few coats of epoxy resin. The island was painted with latex paint. $400.00. Not for sale.
Steampunk Side Table
I made this table from a vintage record album stand. I reinforced the bottom shelf with thicker plywood. I added metal bits and pieces around the top and bottom edges, covered the entire stand except for the metal decorative sides with metal duct tape. Coffee Table
I used the base of a directors' chair removing the arms and back piece and painted the legs with latex paint. The wood from a vintage car creeper was used for the top. After removing the headrest and the wheels I had to thoroughly clean off the grease and then attach the wood to the legs. In this picture the top is still wet from another washing. Wooden Box
I used wood flooring samples for the sides and bootom of this box.The top is a piece of ceramic tile layed over 1/4" plywood and outlined with pine boards. I used yardsticks as cornerbead. It has casters on the bottom and safety hinges on the inside. I used a piano hinge for the lid. $125.00

I built this table out of vintage doors. The base is wood and metal pipe. After sanding and staining the top, I laid out the pattern of beans, lentils, beads, pasta, walnut wood shavings, spices and bird seed and glued them in. Dad's Avon Gun Collection
I attached my Dad's Avon Guns to two pieces of old barnboard I had found in my travels. I drilled holds through the barnboard and put wire through and around the guns and secured the wire in the back by twisting it together. I added thick string for hanging. $200.00 Not for sale.
